student MINISTRIES
Faith Student Ministry exists to lead students and their friends into a lasting relationship with Jesus by rooting them in the gospel, equipping them to live out their faith, creating a welcoming community to invite their friends, and connecting them to the larger church, while partnering with parents.
High School Weekly Meeting
-
High School meets on Sundays from 6-8 PM.
-
High School weekly meetings are a time to connect with other high school students, build relationships with leaders, and study the Bible. We also do small groups 2-3 meetings a month, have some guest speakers, and a few service project opportunities. We go out to eat at a local restaurant on the 1st Sunday of every month.
Middle School Weekly Meeting
-
Middle School meets on Wednesdays from 6-8 PM.
-
Middle School weekly meetings include fun, snacks, and time talking about the Bible and our lives in small groups. We have pizza the 1st Wednesday of every month.
Sunday School
-
The 6th grade Sunday School class meets at 9:45-10:45 am on Sunday mornings. This class goes through the workbook Understanding the Faith, which focuses on the foundations of faith and the meaning of church membership.
-
7th through 12th graders also have a Sunday School class available at 9:45-10:45 am on Sunday mornings. They meet in the Student Ministry Room (Classroom 1).
-
During the Sunday School hour, students may instead serve in a children’s Sunday school class or some other area. This is a great way to put faith into practice, work with others, and use their gifts.
-
Students are also always welcome to attend an adult Sunday school class with a parent.
Special Events
Student Ministry also offers plenty of opportunities for additional fun, activities, and learning opportunities throughout the year with conferences, retreats, and special events.
