CHILDREN MINISTRIES
Faith Kids (our ministry to kids at Faith) exists to partner with parents in leading kids to a growing relationship with Jesus. We know that parenting is hard. And it's even harder on your own. That is why we want to help parents rely on the grace of God, find encouragement and wisdom from each other, and work together to apply the gospel to our parenting. We also want to provide opportunities throughout the year for you and your kids to invite their friends so that more and more families might meet Jesus and find community.
Colossians 2:6-7 “Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.”
Nursery

Infant nursery is available during both worship services and also during Sunday School. It is in classroom 6 in the Children’s wing. Drop off begins at 8:25 am for the 8:30 service, 9:40 am Sunday School, and 10:50 am for the 11:00 service.

8:30 service: 2-4 year olds join for the beginning of the worship service and then are dismissed with the leaders after the Children’s Message. Pick-up is in the Children’s wing.
Sunday School classes are offered beginning at age 3.
11:00 service: 2-4 year olds meet in Classroom 4 in the Children’s Wing. Drop off begins at 10:50 am.
Children’s Church

Children’s Church is to help children grow in their relationship with Jesus, teach elements of worship and hymns, and prepare them to join corporate worship.

Children’s Church is available for ages 2 years old through 2nd grade.

Check in at the children’s welcome desk outside the sanctuary to get name tags, and then join for the beginning of the worship service. Kids are dismissed with leaders after the Children’s Message. Pick-up is in the Children’s wing.
Sunday School

Classes are led by adult teachers and student helpers. They will include Bible stories, learning catechisms, and Scripture memory.

Children’s Sunday School is available for ages 3 years old through 5th grade. Classes are divided by age group.

All Children’s Sunday School classes are located in the Children’s wing. Check-in at the desk in the main foyer.
Mother’s Morning Out (MMO)

Mother’s Morning Out (MMO) provides childcare for children age 0-5 in a loving and faith-based environment. The Mother’s Morning Out (MMO) ministry at Faith Presbyterian Church strives to be a fun, engaging, and Christ-centered environment for children ages 0-5 to grow and mature spiritually, emotionally, and mentally.

MMO meets during the school year (mid-August thru mid-May) on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.

FUN FRIDAY

Fun Friday is a branch of our children's ministry here at Faith Presbyterian Church. It is a themed approach to preschool fun! Send a lunch, and we’ll provide snacks and lots of fun! Fun Fridays are open to all children newborn-5 years of age, including non-MMO families. Fun Friday is from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM (see 2025-2026 dates below).

Costs are $35/1 child, $50/2 children, $65/3 children. Since we work hard to have classes appropriately staffed, we do not offer refunds for missing Fun Friday for illness or other reasons.

SPECIAL events
In addition to Faith Kid’s with nursery, Sunday School, and Children’s Church, a number of times a year we hosts events that you can enjoy with your kids and invite neighbors, friends and family to come as well. These include the Fall Festival every October, Easter Celebration Egg Hunt/ Breakfast and Vacation Bible School every June.
