NATHAN PARKER
SENIOR PASTOR
Nathan Parker has served as lead pastor of Faith Presbyterian since 2019. Before coming to Watkinsville, he spent six years pastoring Pinelands Presbyterian Church in Miami and, prior to that, twelve years as a youth minister in Atlanta. After finishing an M.Div. at Reformed Theological Seminary (Atlanta), Nathan and his wife, Nicole, moved to England, where he earned a Ph.D. from Durham University with a focus on the Puritan John Flavel.
Nathan and Nicole delight in the community at Faith Presbyterian and in raising their three children—Mikey, Mac, and Marigold.

David Fish

David and his wife Lisa have been members at Faith since 2001, when they first moved to Athens for graduate school. David was a science teacher and soccer coach at Westminster Christian Academy in Watkinsville for ten years before they moved to Uganda in 2013. David and Lisa started and ran a school for missionary kids from 2013 to 2023 before returning to the US with their five children. David is working at Faith while he finishes his MDiv from Reformed Theological Seminary in Atlanta. He enjoys reading, gardening, and running.
stephanie atkinson

Stephanie grew up in Donalsonville, Georgia and attended Troy University in Troy, AL where she received her B.S. Degree in Secondary Math and English Education and M.S. Degree in School and Community Counseling. Stephanie has worked in churches and schools with children, youth and families for over 25 years. She and her husband, Brian, have been members of Faith since 2008. They have three children, Lilly, Bailey, and Andrew. Stephanie enjoys a good combination of time with people and time alone, ha! She finds it a great privilege to be able to invest in the lives of the children, youth and families the Lord brings to Faith and our community.
Graham Stolte

Graham grew up in Mt. Pleasant SC and went to college all the way across town at The Citadel. Graham's undergrad was in High School Education, but he had a desire to join the military. While serving at Ft. Bragg NC, Graham felt called to pursue pastoral ministry and met Bri - they were married in July of 2021. While in seminary, Graham and Bri were blessed with their first child (Jonah) and had their second (Maisie) shortly after moving to Athens. Graham loves being active, playing games, being with his family, reading, and making "fun coffees" for Bri. The Stoltes love being here at Faith and feel incredibly blessed to be part of such a warm church family!
Julia Dobish

Julia is originally from Northern Virginia and moved south to attend Covenant College, majoring in chemistry and minoring in French. She completed her masters in chemistry at Vanderbilt University, where she met her husband, Mark (also a chemist). In 2012, they moved to Athens and have been here since! They have four kids and a dog: Elliot, Betsy, Colin, Coco, and Penny. They stay very busy as a family between church activities and sports, but in her free time Julia enjoys running, hiking, gardening and cooking.

Anna grew up in Watkinsville and attended Faith from birth through her last year of college (received undergrad in Middle Grades Education from the University of Georgia). In 2014, she married Andrew and moved to Auburn, AL for a year before they moved back to Monroe. Anna taught 6th and 7th grade SS and ELA for 6 years. Although now a member of a different church, Anna was delighted to return to Faith in the role of Admin Assistant in 2020; she loves being a part of the Faith family! Anna loves board games, Christmas, and spending time with her husband and three children - Hudson, Harrison, and Evelyn.
Amanda Painter

Amanda grew up in Tallahassee, FL and attended Presbyterian College (Clinton, SC) for her undergraduate studies where she met her husband, Jesse. She then moved to Athens to earn her Masters of Accounting at UGA. In 2010, they got married and moved to Dacula, GA. Amanda worked in corporate accounting for 10 years before deciding to move to Watkinsville (where Jesse grew up) and raise their three children - Landon, Kate, and Anna. Amanda and Jesse have been members at Faith since 2022. Amanda enjoys watching her kids play sports, crafting and being outside.
