1st Day In Mexico

Today we woke up and went down to breakfast where we had the best ham and cheese breakfast quesadillas. After we drove downtown, where we got to see all of the fun shops and market stands. We shopped until around 11 when we came back to Shalom for church. The sermon was about mistreatment and abuse, and although we could not understand much, it was an amazing experience as always. Next we had lunch and then our siesta time to rest before our group meeting to go through our devotional for the day. Finally we went to Blas Pascal, the school, where we played ultimate frisbee, soccer, and swam in a pool for hours. Eventually we went out to eat and then came home to shower and sleep before our big day tomorrow. (We have to be up at 5a.m. to drive to the sight.) It has been so so amazing getting to reconnect with all of the people here and I loved getting to play soccer with some of the local church members and catch up with old friends that we haven't been able to see for so long. Only day one but already incredible and memorable and I’m so excited for the rest of the week.
