What We Believe Our Purpose Our desire as a church body is to love God with all our being and to lead others to embrace this same purpose for living through teaching the Bible, reaching out to the lost, and fellowship with those of like faith. Our Goals In the area of teaching we seek to:* establish people in their faith, helping them to pursue righteousness and obedience in the Lord (Colossians 1:28) and, * establish people committed to the Word, characterized by depth in the Word, and thoroughly equipped for life in the ministry to the Lord (2 Timothy 3:16). In the area of outreach we seek to: * motivate people to witness for Christ at home, at work, at play, here and to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8), and * motivate people to embrace the idea of total life stewardship, giving their hearts as well as their time and possessions (2 Corinthians 9:6-7). In the area of fellowship we seek to: * develop people who are consistent and effective in prayer (Jeremiah 33:3), and * develop people who display the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22) and seek to encourage one another to grow in grace (Hebrews 10:24-25). Our Plan "All Together, All Ministers, All to Christ"Ephesians 4:11-13 God has given each one of us gifts and talents. These are to be used all together to accomplish the work God has given us. It is the people of God who do the ministry of God. As members of God's family, we are all ministers called by the Lord to be his effective servants. Our desire is to see each member adopt Colossians 1:28 as his or her own personal model for ministry. "We proclaim Jesus, warning everyone we meet and teaching everyone we can all we know about Him so that everyone we minister to will become mature in Christ." (JBPhillips) Everything we do is to bring all to Christ.
