Pray for Me
Information about our Pray For Me Campaign
What is the Pray for Me Campaign?
We believe every young person needs a team of people praying for them. The Pray for Me Campaign takes this idea and creates a web of intergenerational relationships for young people and equips adult believers to pass on a sustainable faith to the next generation.
How does it work?
You can use the link below to sign up to be a Prayer Champion:
When you sign up, you will be matched with a student (K-12th grade) in our church to pray for. [You can either select a particular child or we can match you with someone.]
Next, you will receive a Prayer Guide. The Pray for Me Campaign is all about prayer, so this is the fun part! Prayer Champions will pray for their students using the Prayer Guide for an entire school year. Prayer Champions who are praying every day will go through the Guide three times over the course of a school year. The Prayer Guide is a tool specifically designed to help Prayer Champions stay the course in praying effectively for the next generation. As you work your way through the guide you will taste the sweetness of turning Scripture into prayer.
Why should I be involved?
Faith’s leadership believes that the Pray for Me Campaign is a powerful tool in mobilizing adults from every generation to intentionally begin investing in the lives of our children and teenagers in a natural way. It takes the most basic of Christian acts -prayer - and makes it a connecting point between generations. Prayer provides an easy and non-threatening way to initiate relationships across generational lines, while also creating a bond that is supernatural and lasting. May God be pleased to create a vast web of relationships across generational lines by raising up a host of Prayer Champions for the emerging generation!
