Our Vision and Values
We seek to love God, to love each other, and to love our neighbor by the grace of God through Jesus Christ.
GOSPEL [by the grace of God]
The default of the human heart is to believe that God accepts us because of what we do. But the gospel says that God accepts us because of what Jesus did on our behalf. Grace is the idea that this love and acceptance is a free gift, found only through faith in Jesus. This good news compels us to put our faith in Christ. As we grow deeper in our understanding of this grace, we glorify and enjoy God, not because we need to earn God’s love and acceptance, but because it is already ours in Christ.
WORSHIP [Loving God]
We respond to the gospel by worshiping God for who He is—the Creator and Sustainer of the world who made a relationship with Him possible through Jesus. We worship Him through the way we use our time, money and talents. Through our worship we receive the grace to rest in Him and are renewed to live with Him. We worship together on Sunday mornings at Faith.
COMMUNITY [Loving Each Other]
The gospel gives us the power to create a community in which we put each other’s needs before our own, are honest about our doubts, struggle together, celebrate together, speak the truth in love, serve each other, and glorify and enjoy God together. Our church is comprised of different people with different stories who are united by one great Savior, Jesus. We experience deep community in our Gospel Community Groups.
MISSION [Loving Our Neighbors]
Knowing that we are loved and accepted in Christ frees us from promoting ourselves to glorify God and be a blessing to those around us. The redeeming power of God in Jesus changes our hearts, community and world. We are witnesses to our city, by what we say and do, of the grace and power of Jesus to change lives. We are on mission at our jobs, in our neighborhoods, at our schools, in the park, partnering with community agencies & ministries, helping to plant churches and connecting and sending missionaries around the world.
